It’s been a very long, eventful, and somewhat chaotic week-or-so and I’m…
Empty would be the wrong word. I’m full of a swirling chaos of thoughts none of which will stay still long enough for my mind to fully envision them. Like quicksilver fishies in a pond full of lilies they slip in and out and I have no idea what they really look like or how many of them there are.
So, since I can’t focus long enough to catch any one of them, you get this…

What I’ve done here was to start with a key image, of the fishies in the lily pond, then using strong variations and revising the instructions, morphed that image into something else entirely while keeping the style consistent.
This was a fun exercise, and it also let me do something at the end I couldn’t have gotten without pushing the image in some curious directions: a goldfish in space.
The AI tools are just that, tools. They have some serious limitations, and can’t imagine anything, so that’s my job, to provide the imagination, and then guide the tool down the strange paths of my mind. Even on a morning when the thoughts are scattered and flickering fast through the weeds of chaos.
