Some, at least, can be recognized by their avatars. Foxfier, Pam, etc.

Be afraid…. Oracle is apparently bundling WP into the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as the instance blog publisher. Whether or not it will tweak it and make it available to the general public as a stand alone product has not been determined. This is documented in the OCI Foundations certification course material.

Adding here – They work fine in Reader mode. Ox’s blog, Sarah’s, and here Reader works, WUWT has a different comment system so they are unaffected in Blog mode. I tend to use Reader most now so I can like comments easier.
