So I spent the last half of December in the hospital with dual respiratory infections, and I’ve spent the first week of January being so tired that sitting up and opening the laptop are major milestones, and nothing is as boring as other people’s illnesses. So this is all I’ve got (courtesy of Ogden Nash):
“Hark, it’s midnight, children dear.
Duck! Here comes another year!”
Take Care.
Take care of yourself and let me know if you need anything. Hugs.
Glad you’re feeling well enough to post! Take care of yourself.
Take care of yourself. Best wishes on a speedy recovery.
I’m having the “fun” of watching everyone getting sick around me. And not getting sick myself.
The Game Master says, “A new year falls upon the party. Does anyone want to try to roll dodge?”
Not going to fall for it.
I roll to disbelieve.
May you follow all your good advice, and have it work!
And yet, the year manages to get us all, even when ducking.
Oof. I think the worst part of getting sick is feeling flat for so long afterwards. It was late November-early December before I was close to “normal” after whatever hit me on November 1-3. (Granted, my Nov-Dec performance and work schedule was no help at all.)
Yep. https://tempestinateardrop.com/2021/12/31/happy-new-year-2022/
I’m glad you’re on the mend, and I hope your upperward trajectory continues.
