I’m not going to get into politics today, but I’m also not in the right mind space right now to do a post on the publishing industry. Part of it is the fact that I’ve been dealing with some medical issues which, to date, look to be not near as serious as they could be but which, to be honest, we are going to monitor closely for a bit. Part of the reason is I’m looking at the house and see how much I have to get done before Sarah arrives tomorrow. But another part is my mind keeps going back to the events eleven years ago and how the events of that day changed me — and the rest of the country. With apologies, I’m going to ask for your indulgence. I’ll try to be back later with a publishing related post, but I can’t guarantee it.

So, for the moment at least, I’m simply going to ask everyone to take a moment to remember all those who lost their lives eleven years ago.
