Off to Continuum!

by Chris McMahon

Hi, everyone. I am off to Continuum in Melbourne this weekend. This is the 51st Australian National Science Fiction Convention.

As you read this I am probably in transit. I should be able to plug in and respond to comments in Melbourne when I get there.

I’m on two panels on Sunday:

Futureproofing Sci-Fi And Fantasy: Sunday 14:00 to 15:00

Stranger Than Fiction: Sunday 17:00 to 18:00

I’ll also be doing a reading slot between 15:00 to 16:00 on Sunday, along with Stephen Dedman, Lucy Sussex and Kaaron Warren. I’m planning to read the Prologue from Scytheman – second book in the Jakirian Cycle – which should be up on the Naked Reader site by the end of July. People have been very patient for book 2! Not long now.

It’s been a while since I’ve been to a convention, so I am really looking forward to it. It will also be fun to do a reading. If you happen to be in Melbourne over the long weekend, drop into Rydges on Swanston (701 Swanston Street, Carlton) and sample the strange imaginarium that is an Aus Natcon!
