Tell your computer the story of the little laptop that decided to get lazy, and how it ended up going for a nice dip in the salty ocean. Computers are afraid of salt water, or at least they should be 😉
My last machine was stolidly reliable for something like 11 years. And I was rather upset when it let me down, as I’m too mean and too old fashioned to like constantly replacing it.

Oh, I’ve only replaced one (and the old one still worked, just didn’t have enough RAM to run a couple programs, once the programs were updated to newer versions; and I didn’t have copies of the old versions to reinstall) I’ve went through several monitors though. Apparently they don’t respond to percussive maintenance nearly as well as computers.

Still working….
Probably all shook up about the earthquakes in New Zealand.
I didn’t even know…
You mean it is unusual to wonder if your computer is still going to be working in six hours?
