Nothing.
Absolutely nothing, this morning. Well, that’s not exactly true. I have the short story I’ve been struggling with finally — FINALLY — firmly set in my head and the novel due in two weeks is there, fighting for attention. The result, I can’t seem to wrap my mind around the blog today. I couldn’t write it last night because I was distracted by the idiocy being heaped on another writer I know by someone who was supposed to be a copy editor but who was, in my opinion, a frustrated writer in her own right and who was doing a damned good (for a definition of good) job trying to rewrite my friend’s book to be her own. Fortunately, my friend stood her ground, taking the lessons of Dean Wesley Smith and Kris Rusch to heart and refused the idiotic edits. That’s something we all should keep in mind.
But, that’s not my story to tell.
So, I gots nothing for today. I feel bad doing this, but I’m going to throw the blog open today. If you have questions or comments on publishing, post them in the comments section. If you want to know about self-publishing, ask away. I promise to be back with a brain not bogged down by plots and the need to finish Christmas decorations – and we are NOT going to talk about the stack of Naked Reader Press work sitting on my desk to be done this week — next week.
The floor is now yours.

Guess we’re all in a pre-Xmas fog.
I’ll blame mine on attempting to get another novel up on Kindle before Christmas. What’s your excuse? (Or actual reason, if it’s funnier.)
I’m editing A Few Good Men for Toni, then I need to finish Noah’s Boy to have on her desk, if possible before xmas. Meanwhile I’m editting a space opera novella for the kindle and, oh, yeah, I owe a novel to Naked Reader… You mean other people SLEEP?
